Dr. Ahmad Chaudhry
Dr. Chaudhry graduated with the highest honors (Summa Cum Laude) from East Stroudsburg University (ESU) , where he attended with a full academic scholarship. In his final year, he interned at Connaught Laboratories, now Sanofi Pasteur, performing studies on different vaccines. Dr. Chaudhry attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He continued his education with a six year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency and completed Medical School at the State University at Stony Brook in New York. Apart from learning all the classic oral surgery techniques, Dr. Chaudhry keeps abreast of the latest developments in his field. He has published in peer-reviewed oral surgery journals and regularly attends oral surgery and implant conferences. He also lectures on these topics and leads a dental implant study club. Patients regularly praise him for his comfortable demeanor and making them feel at ease.
Education
Dr. Chaudhry graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine with Honors. He was among one of the first classes to graduate in the new Problem-based curriculum. At graduation, he was honored by his classmates and elected to be the Graduation Class Speaker. He was awarded the prestigious Samuel and Ida Gelfand Scholarship while at Harvard. He conducted international research with a grant from Harvard Medical School.
After graduating from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Chaudhry was accepted into a dual degree Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and SUNY Stony Brook in New York. He completed an oral surgery internship, anesthesia training, general surgery internship, and became the Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Chaudhry obtained his MD degree from SUNY Stony Brook.
Experience
After finishing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency, Dr. Chaudhry went into private practice in Manhattan, New York . He has placed over 1,000 dental implants and performed hundreds of bone grafting procedures. His wisdom teeth extraction with IV sedation procedures are too many to count. He regularly attends conferences on the latest advances in his field. He has published in peer-reviewed journals on the topics of facial pain and effects of certain medicines on jaw bones. He takes pride in his pursuit of life long learning.
Humanity
Dr. Chaudhry strongly believes giving back to society. He was an active member of the Donated Dental Services program while in private practice in New York City, providing free care to the elderly and special needs patients.
Dr. Chaudhry works closely with Humanity First USA, a non-profit organization working to help with disaster relief and humanitarian work around the world. He travelled to Ghana, Africa on a surgical mission in 2009. In 2013, he spent time in Guatemala providing free dental care to hundreds of needy people and teaching college students who accompanied him on the mission.
In 2008, he travelled to Ecuador. He provided care in the middle of the rainforest to indignous people.
All these trips solidify in his mind the importance of giving back and being truly thankful for all that we have.
Recreation
Dr. Chaudhry lives in Bethlehem and enjoys photography, tennis and golf. He has a passion for videography and has utilized his talent for helping non-profit organizations. Dr. Jean Kim
While attending dental school at Columbia University, Dr. Jean Kim discovered the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. It’s remained her specialty ever since, as she enjoys the immediate feelings of excitement and satisfaction that she’s able to provide her patients.
Dr. Kim was recognized as a Chief Resident in the Oral and Maxillofacial Department at Montefiore Medical Center for 2018-2019. She also received a Pierre Fauchard Award for outstanding and dedicated service to the profession.
Dr. Kim is an active member of the American Dental Association, as well as the New York State Dental Association, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She has also provided free dental care to Cambodian children on dental outreach trips.
When she’s not working, Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with her husband Geoff and their dog Piper. She’s also an avid New York sports fan who likes to stay active and visit other countries whenever she gets the chance.
Dr. Maryam Farag
Dr. Farag a native of New Jersey, earned her undergraduate degree in biological sciences from Rutgers University in 2009. She then moved to Boston, MA, where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University in 2013. Dr. Farag is a teacher at heart, as she held various teaching roles while she was in dental school.
Upon completing dental school, Dr. Farag returned to New York , to complete a one-year general practice residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center. It was then there she gained a true passion for the specialized field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She remained at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center until she completed the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency in 2018.
During her training, Dr. Farag gained valuable experience performing all oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures including extractions, placement of dental implants, facial trauma and reconstruction, and pathology. Dr. Farag is an Assistant clinical professor and holds operating privileges at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Being involved with the community has always been important to Dr. Farag. While in dental school and residency, she travelled internationally for multiple mission trips to promote oral health awareness to underserved communities.
Dr. Satoko Fisher
Dr. Satoko Fisher began her academic journey at the University of Texas at Austin, graduating summa cum laude. She then pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where she was recognized for her achievements with a nomination to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society.
Discovering her passion for surgery, Dr. Fisher completed her residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. Fisher is dedicated to ensuring her patients have a comfortable experience during oral surgery and values close relationships with her referring community. She is also committed to giving back and has volunteered both domestically and internationally, including mission trips to Myanmar and Cuba.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Fisher enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
